Every fall, we take a weekend to gather with other college students from around Michigan to seek God together and have a whole lot of fun!

Fall Retreat 2023

“Seeds of The Kingdom” is the theme of our fall retreat this year!

 

This year’s Fall Retreat is about the coming of the kingdom of God and its humble, countercultural, perhaps confounding beginnings. Jesus is a different kind of king with a different kind of kingdom. When Jesus speaks of the kingdom he came to inaugurate, he sometimes used metaphors that involve a seed. We will be explore the idea of seeds, the person of Jesus, the nature of the kingdom of God, and our part in it all.

Join us as we gather with college students from churches all around the state of Michigan for a great weekend away full of fun and meaning!

Dates: Oct 6-8

Where: FaHoLo

Cost: $49

We don't want cost to be a reason you would miss this weekend and so we have scholarships available.

Friday

  • 4:30 Leave for Faholo

  • 7:00 Church Hangout

  • 8:00 Main Session

  • 9:45 Church Hangout

Sunday

  • 8:00 Breakfast

  • 9:00 Head back to Kalamazoo

  • 11:11 Sunday Service at the Student Center

Saturday

  • 8:30 Breakfast

  • 9:45-12:30 Morning Session/Time with God/Small Group Time

  • 12:30 Lunch

  • 1:30-5:30 Free Time (Optional workshops 4-5)

  • 5:30 Dinner

  • 6:45 Evening Session

  • 9:00 Church Hangout/Karate Pinata/Free Time
