A bit about Daniel!

Favorite Bible Stories: Can I pick whole books?  If so, it’s a tie between, Isaiah, Deuteronomy, and John … and Psalms.

Favorite Book Recommendation: The Lord of the Rings (Les Miserables would be number two)

Favorite Quote: “There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tower high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.” J.R.R. Tolkien

Music Recommendation: Rich Mullins

Favorite Snack: Popcorn

Favorite Places in Kalamazoo: The downtown library, West Main Hill, and Oshtemo Township Park disc golf course.

What do you love about WMU: It is a friendly, diverse, and welcoming place.

Why is the good news good news to you?
I am a sinner saved by the grace of God!  In Jesus I have found freedom, abundant life, and satisfaction for my soul.  The creator of the universe knows me fully and loves me fully!  It is the best news ever!

What do you do around H2O?
I am one of the pastors.  I serve in a variety of areas including small groups, community building, and preaching.  I also organize our urban putt putt Friday fun night.

A bit more about Daniel:
I love to come alongside people and point them to Jesus.  I am married to my amazing best friend, and we have three kids.  As a family we enjoy welcoming people into our home and helping people to taste and see the goodness of God. I can ride a unicycle.  And juggle clubs.  But not at the same time.
