9/20 and 9/27 – Service at the Amphitheater
We are planning to return to our normal location at the Knauss Amphitheater for the remaining Sunday Services this month. Check back here for any changes in case of unforeseen circumstances.
This Sunday (September 6th), we plan to meet in the Amphitheater on WMU’s campus (located HERE, between Knauss, Dunbar, and Friedman) at our normal time (11:11 AM).
Hello! Thank you for checking out H2O Church!
We’re excited to have you come and join us. We know that checking out a new place with new people can feel overwhelming and be full of unknowns and so we hope this page will help you know what to expect when you visit us.
A lot is different right now because of Covid-19. To comply with new safety standards, we have moved our regular Sunday Service meeting to the outdoor amphitheater between Knauss, Friedman, and Dunbar halls on the WMU campus. However, our meeting location may change on a given week due to weather or scheduling conflicts, so please be sure to check for updates each week by visiting this page, emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or following us on Facebook or Instagram.
*You can also join us live on Zoom for any of our Sunday Services. For the link to join, email us HERE, or text Trevor Cuffe at 248-709-3145.
Please note: We do not currently have childcare available, and ask that everyone who attends our gatherings maintain 6 ft. social distance from anyone outside of your household, and wear a face mask while entering, leaving, or singing. You can read more about our policies on our Covid-19 Updates page.
We have one Sunday service at 11:11 AM. People usually show up a little beforehand to grab some coffee or a snack before finding a seat. Due to Covid-19, we are not currently providing snacks or coffee, but you are still welcome to come early to connect with others before service!
We are usually meeting in the Amphitheater between Knauss, Dunbar, and Friedman halls. But please make sure to check each week for any changes. You can enter from the walkways on the North or West sides (either side of Knauss), and a greeter will be present to welcome you.
All parking is free on campus on Sunday, but parking close to the Amphitheater can be tricky. We recommend parking in lots 27, 33, or 37. (Found on this map) From there, the Amphitheater is a short walk.
We hope to eventually return to our previous meeting location in 1001 Wood Hall.
What to expect
Our Sunday gatherings regularly include the following:
- Worship through music (listen to some of the songs we sing on our Spotify account!)
- Slice of life: A short testimony of what God is doing in someone’s life
- Teaching from the Bible
What about kids?
Unfortunately, due to restrictions related to Covid-19, we are unable to provide childcare at this time. Children are welcome to join for our regular service, and we just ask that children over the age of 5 wear masks when entering, leaving, or singing.
What do I wear?
We know it’s something many people wonder about so we’ve got you covered. Being on a college campus we have a very laid back and comfortable atmosphere. If jeans a t-shirt are your thing? Awesome! Sweatpants? Great! Suit and tie? Rock it! Flip flops? Heels? All good!
Let us know you’re coming or if you have further questions
If you plan on visiting let us know by sending us an email to email@example.com or message us on Facebook or Instagram and we’ll have someone connect with welcoming you! Also if you have any other questions please let us know as well.
Join us weekly on the WMU campus during the normal school year
