I didn’t grow up going to church, but during my sophomore year of college I was searching for something I couldn’t define and decided to give church a chance. New Life was the closest one to my dorm, so I went to check it out. I kept coming back for the great talks, awesome worship, and free donuts. I became a Christian through New Life, got involved in small groups, and started serving. New Life Church changed my life with the Gospel, and I went on staff so I could provide other students that same opportunity. I loved what I did while volunteering with the church and wanted to do it all day, every day. I also met my amazing and beautiful wife Sara at New Life. We got married in 2005 and we know have three beautiful daughters.
God raised me up as a pastor in 2014 and my current responsibilities are overseeing our Sunday services, events and retreats, as well as directing one of our campus regions. I love what I get to do because I get to have a front row seat in seeing God transform students’ lives. The ripple effect that the Gospel has on their future families and careers is changing the world.
